Finding Center: Amber Aguirre Hands-On Workshop

November 1 & 2 2025 - Spaces are going fast

Please join us for this hands-on workshop with Amber Aguirre. Amber is know for her figurative sculptures, that focus on politics, relationships, and sexuality. During this two day workshop we will be creating functional sculpture based on her travels abroad. It will be weekend filled with techniques, ideas, stories and laughs - enough to fill more than one book.

In our current climate Amber's work is a fantastic relief; it's full of odd and fanciful ideas, it's unpredictable, driven by imagination.

Amber is also not afraid to draw attention to the past, and current political issues that define our culture.

And perhaps most importantly the work is fun!

For this weekend workshop you will need:

Clay

Basic Tools, and those you can't live with out - whatever they happen to be

Under glaze

most importantly - your sense of fun!
