Discovering a new style

Looking back on our workshop with Wesley Brown reminded us why we host a workshop series at Clay Arts Vegas. Sure, it’s fun to hobnob with artists who are masters of their craft—but it’s even better to spend a weekend surrounded by like-minded people, getting your hands dirty, and forgetting the outside world for a while.

When you attend a workshop, you’re not just watching demos, your making —you’re taking a deep dive into someone else’s process. You see how they think, how they solve problems, and you often (re)discovering what first pulled you toward making the work that truly excites you.

Workshops are about exploring, experimenting, and growing. They’re about play— trying new tools, new approaches, and new ways of seeing. Doing a workshop isn't about your style, it's experimenting, and growing in someone else's. It's like test driving a new car, you discover unexpected thing.

A huge Thank you to Wes Brown for taking us someplace new!

We’d love for you to join us this August for not one, but two inspiring workshops—two chances to get your hands dirty, learn new techniques, and leave recharged with fresh ideas (and new work) to show for it

Joseph’s hands-on workshop dives into his signature sculptural techniques as you design and build a one-of-a-kind wall hanging—packed with texture, personality, and plenty of room to make it your own. So bring those ideas!
